Vela APX Announces the Acquisition of Vitalcare

Vela APX Acquires Vitalcare, a leading provider of trusted care technology that enhances safety, efficiency, and quality of life.

Sydney, Australia – July 1, 2025 – Vela APX, a division of Vela Software Group and Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU), is pleased to announce the acquisition of Vitalcare, a leader in nurse-call, medical alert, and critical messaging systems, serving hospitals, aged care, allied health, and home care across Australia and New Zealand

In 1979, a group of Australian engineers set out to design smarter ways to keep people safe in their own homes and aged care. Vitalcare are one of the original hardware developers whose vision helped shape the early Personal Emergency Response Systems and Nurse Call systems that would eventually carry the Vitalcare name. Throughout the years the team has expanded the functions, features and software supporting health facilities, and individuals in their homes. In 2025, Vitalcare continues to push boundaries, blending hardware, software, and innovation to improve safety and quality of life for older people.
