David and Todd Wyeth, Directors of Autoinfo New Zealand and Autoinfo Australia on joining Vela Software Group and Constellation Software Inc:

“Becoming a part of the Vela group marks a major milestone for us and our long-serving team members, continuing the vision outlined by our co-founder Bob Wyeth.  Adherence to that vision and core principles has seen our customers thrive and as a result of their success, our business has been able to succeed along with them.

Selling a business that your family has spent over 18 years building isn’t a decision to be taken lightly, and we believe that the core principles of Vela and the entire Constellation group align well with our own. This will ensure that the independence and ethics that our industry has come to expect of us can be maintained for decades to come.

The team at Vela APX and the wider Constellation Group were already known to us with a long-standing relationship.  They understood us, our principles, the way we interact with our industry and several mutual customer relationships.   We felt that they would continue our legacy whilst taking us on a greater journey beyond our humble beginnings.”

“We are delighted to welcome the Autoinfo team and customers to the Vela family. David, Todd, Cathy, and the team have built an amazing business which has become the industry standard for automotive parts cataloguing in the region, and we’re thrilled to provide Autoinfo a new and permanent home in our automotive portfolio. Their innovation and strong customer relationships are key assets, and we look forward to supporting their continued growth and success in the automotive sector.”
